Tackle Your TBR Read-a-Thon (Sept 8 – 21)

The lovely ladies from Colorimetry and Tressa’s Wishful Endings have come up with this great Read-a-thon to help reduce our TBR pile. The Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon begins September 8th and ends September 21st. You do not have to be a blogger to sign up – so check out their sign up pages and join in the fun! They will be using Twitter hashtag #TackleTBR.

Julie’s Read-A-Thon Plan:

I’ve decided to participate since I think I’m still biting off more than I can chew.. er.. read. I think this will help me keep up with my plans this month. I was out-of-town last week so I was not able to create this post until now. According to my notes, I have 6 book clubs I’m attending this month – luckily two of these are books I have already read, one of which I’m re-reading (since I am hosting and will be creating the crossword puzzle). I’m also participating in the Night Huntress series read-a-long (and am already behind on the discussion since I was out-of-town last week). On top of that I have our planned reviews and ARCs/review copies to get through.

Goal: 8 books

I’m not going to list all the books I plan to read, since sometimes this changes anyway, so I’ll just list my actual books read on my wrap-up post. Since the read-a-thon technically started yesterday while I was still out-of-town, I will count the books I finished yesterday as part of the event.
