One of the best tips I’ve heard from author is to get your story out while it is fresh in your mind, then focus on revisions, revisions, revisions. There are a few grammar rules to keep in mind from the start, just so it is easier to review and edit later. The wordiness one is the one I struggle with the most. I just know I will have to edit a lot of my phrasing after I am done.

This is such a neat list, Julie! 🙂 Wordiness is what I struggle with most (motormouth that I am…) But I try to keep it in check, both in writing and conversation, lol.
