We’re starting a new feature here on Chapter Break called Chat About Covers. ‘Cause you know we all judge books by covers, whether we admit it or not. We judge the style, the color and font choices, and just the overall look. That might not keep us from reading the book, but we do still judge.

Well, I haven’t been a huge fan of any covers in this series. The series and spin-off books I have enjoyed, but the covers have all been kinda odd.

Why is she running through a book? Is it supposed to be a spell book? She’s not a witch, no magic there. Not sure.

The creepy face. Oh, why with the creepy faces. I can only assume the yellow eyed man is her baby daddy vamp.

I do like the title font, though.

The creepy yellow eyes are the first thing I noticed. And not in a good way. Excellent eye brow game, though!

And is she running to the book? Or out of the book? It makes me think of Ink Heart and the characters who exit books. Why leave a book?

I like the cosmo-y feel of the stars and sky. But what does that have to to with the book?
