Rose’s Quote:
“Really? That didn’t bother you?….Because what she did was completely offensive. I was bothered by it, so I can’t believe that you weren’t…You should never expect that…”
–Evan Mathews to Emma Thomas
(Reason to Breathe by: Rebecca Donovan)
I am in love with this series right now! Simply amazing writing. Deep, thoughtful, brooding characters. Realistic. Passionate. Heart breaking, but still hopeful, this series is exactly the sort of book(s) that I love reading.
Julie’s Quote:
“And now I’m looking at you,” he said, “and you’re asking me if I still want you, as if I could stop loving you. As if I would want to give up the thing that makes me stronger than anything else ever has. I never dared give much of myself to anyone before – bits of myself to the Lightwoods, to Isabelle and Alec, but it took years to do it – but, Clary, since the first time I saw you, I have belonged to you completely. I still do. If you want me.”
–Jace to Clary
Jace = all the feels!
To continue on last week’s Karou theme – “Better to be the cat gazing coolly down from a high wall, its expression inscrutable. The cat that shunned petting, that needed no one. Why couldn’t she be that cat?” Seriously, if you haven’t yet read Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor – get right on it.
Fun idea! 🙂
I added my post to your list and this may sound dumb, but how do I get the script to your meme list to embed into my post (or don’t you want us to do that)?
That’s a good question. I don’t really know how to easily provide the link up code. But I think it is probably best and easiest to have people come to the site hosting the meme to link up. Thanks for participating! I’ll go check out your post.
