Rose review avatarRose’s Quote:

Memphis started to say something clever- ‘Why? You’re already the best-looking girl in town’- but didn’t. It would seem like charm, and he didn’t want to charm this girl. He wanted to know her. But the magic of their escape couldn’t extend everywhere.

‘Maybe I’ll see you in my dreams tonight,’ he said instead.

Memphis to Theta

(The Diviners by: Libba Bray)

I like this quote because Memphis could have tried sweet talking Theta, but instead he was himself. He was real and what girl wouldn’t appreciate that?

Julie Review AvatarJulie’s Quote:

Well, of course he does, Sassenach. He left her his dog.

Jamie Fraser to Clare

(An Echo In The Bone by: Diana Gabaldon)

This quote is kind of a two-fer ’cause it is Jamie talking to Clare, but it is about Young Ian and him being in love with Rachel Hunter. The reply from Jamie is to Clare’s question on whether Ian feels betrothed to Rachel. Hehe. Yep, Ian left his dog in Rachel’s care so of course he might as well be formally engaged to her.

OMG ANDIE! You are soooo lucky! I would LOVE to read Outlander again for the very first time. You will not be able to resist falling in love with Jamie. Sigh….Just get through the stones and the book picks up!

I recommend the audio to get through it easier… also the audio adds to it by adding music and accents…
