I loved this quote. This is the line that made me fall for Archer. He is such a damaged guy and he is falling for Bree and he doesn’t know how to deal with that. I love this part. He just knows he wants to be close to Bree and protect her and be there for her. He knows her fears and can speak to them. Sigh.

I’m such a fan of Mal in this series. He’s always been Alina’s friend from the days before she became the Sun Summoner and is the only person who makes her feel like herself. He does everything and anything to protect her.
Great feature! I’m not Mal’s biggest fan but I have to admit that quote was amazing. It was so awesome when he said that. Then again, I always seem to have a thing for the villain, so. 😉 Can’t wait for Ruin & Rising!

Both these books are on my tbr, girls. And I think I’m in love with both Archer and Mal after reading those quotes. 🙂

YES! That is why I love sharing these quotes… it makes you feel something and then you go look up the book and then suddenly you realize while reading it that you have just discovered your new favorite book of all time.

I love both quotes! Archer’s Voice is new to me, but I have read Leo by Mia Sheridan. Archer sounds so sweet! Shadow and Bone is one of those books I keep overlooking, and I have no idea why. I’ve got a copy and I just never get around to reading it, I keep choosing other books ahead of it. I think I’ll try and read it soon, seems incredibly sweet too!

Alma, this is my first book to read by Mia Sheridan. I do not know if I will read more of her books. Her style for me is just okay. What made the book for me was Archer. I really really fell for him.
