Sharing the Bookish Love is our newest feature where we share some of our favorite posts we have recently come across on the book blogosphere. If there’s a recent post you want us to share, feel free to let us know.

Thought-provoking Discussions:

Deadly Darlings has a cool post about the types of male leads in YA. You know, the bad boy, the friend, etc. I like her examples and she also states her swoon level.

Rabid Reads asks, are you stricter or more lenient when rating a beloved series? Rabid Reads also asks, have you ever been compelled to do an immediate re-read? I rarely re-read and I can be more strict when a beloved series disappoints.

Oh Chrys talks about the joy of book blogging. This post is awesome 🙂

Happy Indulgence asks, why do we love sad movies? I don’t really prefer sad movies or sad stories, but I’ll make exceptions.

Reading and Writing UN/PNR talks about writing negative reviews.  They are hard to write, and I often have a difficult time not being emotional if I’m upset about the book for any specific reason.

Effortlessly Reading discusses swag. What do you do with it? I haven’t figured it out yet either.

Nose Graze wants to know whether one can be a booktuber if one only reads ebooks. I suppose you can, because you can always edit the recording to overlay full color book covers found online.

Book Badger shares some Netgalley negatives. We know we have a love/hate relationship with the magic place of all these books we always request.

Readers Wonderland has a cool post imagining what it would be like if ARCs didn’t exist.

Tynga’s Reviews chats about character names. I often wonder why certain names get selected. Especially the very unusual and hard to pronounce ones.

Splash of Ink thinks about the future of libraries. And this reminds me, I need renew my library card.

Recommendations and Tips:

Parajunkee shares these great tips on becoming a book blogging master.

Splash of Ink has a really cool post about how long your blog post should be. There’s an awesome flow chart and everything!

Nose Graze has a very useful article for those of us constantly getting locked out of our sites due to iThemes Security. She has tips on how to remove the lock, and to keep from continuing to get locked out.

There were actually two posts about being a good blogger. One was funny but the one I shared was the serious one 🙂
