TWHST Christian Grey

Christian Grey to Ana Grey

(Fifty Shades Freed by: E. L. James)

I just finished reading this trilogy and must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I really did NOT think I would like these books, but loved them. I especially liked the email exchanges such as this one.

  1. Ha! I remember when I read those books (about a year ago) and was surprised by how much I liked them too. The email exchanges were the best and I totally fell for Christian. I’m looking forward to the movie, though I’m still struggling to see how they’ll do it exactly and wondering if people will feel comfortable watching it in a theater full of strangers. I’m on the fence personally.

Oh I’m so with you! I’m not sure about the movie at all, and certainly it doesn’t seem like the type of thing you want to watch with others lol.

The movie trailer is what made me read the books. I guess I am not worried about seeing it with other people. I mean, its not porn if its in the theatres, right? I think the movie version is going to be way tamer than the books.

Melissa, I never thought I would read this series either, but I was really surprised that I liked them as much as I did…

yeah, I liked the last one probably the best. I liked that this series wasnt all about getting the girl or falling in love, it was about how to maintain the relationship…Thanks for linking up and participating in our MEME!!

Jessica, I was the same way… I really thought I would hate these books, but I had a lot of fun reading them! I say, go for it! You never know what YOU will think unless you try them… thanks for linking up!

I completely understand Suzie. I had these books given to me and I still refused to read them for two years after that. I am glad I gave them a chance, but considering what I “thought” I knew about the books, I understand why it took me so long to even sorta WANT to try reading them…
