Ms. Kelli Stuart is a member of one of the blogging groups I’m also a member of on Facebook. She just launched her book, 30 Days to Becoming an Author, and approached the members of the group to see who wanted to share her book with their readers. Of course I jumped on the idea, since some of my readers are aspiring authors (and maybe even my co-blogger still). I’m not an aspiring author myself, but I read through the book and enjoyed the tips and information that I saw in there. What I think is really neat about this book is each day starts off with information to consider and ends with a task or a challenge that an aspiring author can complete. This book will take one from the planning stages, through the first draft, editing, and finally through publishing. Enjoy your writing journeys!
Title: 30 Days to Becoming an Author
Author: Kelli Stuart
Blurb: Have you dreamed of publishing a book, but don’t know where to start? In this quick, easy-to-read reference guide, Kelli Stuart gives readers the tools they need to see the stories move from their heads to the computer screen and, ultimately, into the hands of others. 30 Days to Becoming a Writer is a comprehensive guide covering such topics as What to Write, When to Write, Character Development, How to Publish Both Fiction and Non-Fiction, Securing an Agent, Writing a Book Proposal that Sells, and many more. Each chapter ends with a challenge that will allow readers to put their dreams to action, and to move from wishing they could write a book to actually publishing that book.

this one sounds really interesting. I try to read at least one non-fiction book per month. I definitely want to pick this one up – I have an entire bookshelf devoted to books on writing. Maybe one day I’ll get that book of mine published 😉

I don’t know if I am going to pick this one since I really don’t read non-fiction books. But interesting though. It would surely provide great insight to the writing process of most authors. And it would help us understand more why authors do this and do that.

I’m with you on non-fiction books. Books like these have a very specific audience, it is true.
I’m curious about this, I’m not writing a book but id like to see how its executed.

The writing process is interesting to learn about. I like asking authors about it, so it is true that a book like this can give good insight to bloggers.
