Lynn’s Quote:
“Last night you said you wanted to know what to expect so you could better select your attire. I told you we were going to visit a vampire in a Goth-den tonight. Why, then, Ms. Lane, do you look like a perky rainbow?”
–Jericho Barrons to MacKayla Lane
(Darkfever (Fever #1) by: Karen Marie Moning)
Barrons is witty, smart, SUPER HOT, and owns a bookstore. Plus, has an accent. These are the best kind of qualities in a book boyfriend. The next book (#7) in this series is released in January. You have plenty of time to aquaint yourself with Barrons, MacKayla, and all the other characters before then. And I’ll just leave you with the updated cover.

This sounds like such a fun book! I need to add it to my reading list. 🙂

Kimberly, I haven’t listened to the audio for these books. I may have to check that out as a refresher!
I think I plan on listening to all these when I go back to work 🙂 I must meet this Barons character 🙂

Have you checked the library? Harris County has Darkfever in Audiobook!
Thanks, I’ll have to check what’s available on Overdrive.
I love Barons, he is my bases for actually continuing on with the series after FaeFever sort of turned me off. I haven’t ever heard of this He Said post of yours, but it’s pretty cool! 🙂

Thanks, Stormi! Come back anytime!
What was it about FaeFever that turned you off? I’m new to the series.
We’d love to have you join the meme Stormi 🙂

Barrons is Irish. The series takes place in Dublin.
Ooh I wonder how awesome the accent would be on the audiobook.
I checked out the sample audio, but the sample doesn’t go far enough into the story to find out. Will need to investigate further.
Oooh, gosh! I <3 Barrons to hard! I can not WAIT until Burned hits shelves in January. At first I was a little disappointed that the author wasn't continuing the story from Dani's POV, but I quickly got over it because Mac & Jericho are amazing. Great quote!
Carmel @ Rabid Reads recently posted…Question: Love TrianglesâHow Do You Really Feel About Them?
Thanks Carmel! I’m a little worried about what’s going to happen with Christian MacKelter. And I hope that Dani and MacKayla can get back to being friends.
Ha, awesome quote! I would love to meet this guy and see what happens next after this quote. 😀

Leila – that’s great! Hopefully she (guessing here) doesn’t take to also fighting evil Fae.
I LOVE that line! And the cover… can’t seem to tear my eyes away.
