Being that it is Women’s History Month, I thought it would be quite appropriate to share this awesome infographic about the 13 women who have won the Nobel Prize in literature. Let’s hope the upcoming years will see more lovely ladies winning Nobels for their work. I actually haven’t read ANY of these, so now I hang my head in shame. Which of these lovely authors have you read?

  1. I’ve only read 3 from the list, Julie. Pearl Buck, Toni Morrison, and Alice Munro. I guess I have *more* reading to do. 🙂 Thanks for sharing this though. Even though I’d read these authors, I didn’t realize they’d won Nobels. I enjoyed all the quotes, too. Virginia Woolf’s made me smile. I’ve read her, as well.

Ooh look at what a good reader you are – you’ve read some of these! I’m surprised we didn’t get to any of these in English classes.

YES! This book is amazing. I have read it several times and the turnout for our book club the month we read this was the biggest meeting yet! People seem to really enjoy this book.
