Julie’s 2016 Audiobook Challenge Update:
Well I apparently didn’t do a Q1 update, fail? But here’s my mid-year check up for this fun-tastic audiobook challenge. You know by now that audiobooks are pretty much the ONLY way I read these days. SO HURRAY for this fun challenge. My goal?
- Marathoner (Look Ma no hands) 50+
Currently, as we are nearing the end of Q2, I have read 28 audio books. So it looks like I’ll make the 50+ mark if I keep at this pace.
Woop Woop!
I have embedded my GR shelf below.
How are you doing with your challenge?

Woah! 28 audiobooks this year?! THAT’S AMAZING GO YOU!! I basically get through one a month. xD Which I would do more but I get distracted heheh. Ahem. I do so love audiobooks though! I see you did Winter and afjdksald I looooved the Winter audio. Best decision to read it that way. :’)
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
Well, that’s pretty much the only way I read these days, so that means I’ve only read about 28 books so far this year.. give or take haha
Looks like you had some really great reads. My favorite on your list was Menagerie by Rachel Vincent. I’m really excited to get book two. 🙂 Great job on your goals.

I’m definitely curious about book 2 in that series, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the audio narration.
I don’t know how to embed my GoodReads Audiobook Challenge shelf, boo! So far, I’ve read 29 of the 50 I hope to read. My favorite new-to-me author audiobook was Naked by Raine Miller. I did an immediate re-listen. That was the 1st time I’ve done that since my Twilight saga rereading on repeat days. My most recent ‘wow’ audiobook read was Dirty English by Ilsa Madden-Mills, narrated by the amazing John Hartley (f-loved his British accent) and Summer Morton. I really hope Ilsa’s sequel about Declan’s twin brother Dax is narrated by that same duo. They were fantastic together and made a good new adult story an above average reading experience.
You can make a widget from that shelf and it gives you a code to embed in a web page. Or I think you can link up just your shelf to their linky.
