So let’s chat about bookish gifts. What do you like to gift people that is bookish, but not an actual book?
Julie:
It is fun to gift items that are based on books. I used to do gift exchanges as part of book clubs, and it is so awesome to see all the bookish trinkets out there. From jewelry, to clothing items, to even bookmarks or paperweights. Below are some fun ideas. Are you gifting these to anyone this year?
Lynn:
I really think one of those Beauty and The Beast style libraries is a reasonable request from Santa. Or a fancy window seat/library. I’ve been good this year!
I guess these are a bit more practical.
Do you have any other ideas for bookish gifts?
I really love those scarves! I got a book blogging mug for Christmas and I love it!

I completely agree about the library request from Santa, Lynn! *fingers crossed* for you! 😉 I had to check out this post as I’m meeting with a reader friend this weekend and wanted to see if there was anything I could add to her gift. I got her a coffee mug with Jane Austen quotes on it that I know she’ll love. I like the bookmarks though. And that candle! *hahahaha*

Glad we would be of serviced, Brandee! And fingers crossed for your library wish as well!
There are some great prints on Etsy where they put a silhouette over text from a book. My friend got me one of those on year of Peter Pan.

Etsy – the land of great gift ideas. Thanks, Terri. I’ll need to check those out!
Last year I got my niece a nice book light for reading in bed. Then I was so jealous, I got myself one too!

That’s a great idea, Wendy! My mom’s house could use some more lights for when I visit!
