Mini Reviews Wrap Up October 2018

Here at Chapter Break, we don’t always write a full review of every book we read. Well, now we decided to do these monthly wrap-up posts with roundups of our reviews this month and mini-reviews to fill in the gaps. Enjoy!

Hexed (Iron Druid Chronicles) is the second book in the series. It was my neighbor bestie who recommended this series to me and it’s fan-tastic. The narrator of the audiobooks is great- wonderful accents, super sassy Druid dude, crazy snobby Faerie goddesses, and lots of fun other characters. Every turn of the story, our Druid is getting in trouble, and fighting to stop the bad guys. And the guy just can’t keep an ear on his head! Fun read, looking forward to continuing with the series.

Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life: Lots of good points about setting boundaries for yourself and with interactions between others. However, didn’t know it was a religious book when I downloaded it so that was kind of awkward for me.

Hexed is new to me. I haven’t read much in this genre before, so I’ll have to check out your review on this one. Hope you find many great books in November!
