This ninety-two-page gift book is a compilation of devotions, poems, prayers, and lists of things to be grateful for. The difference between having what you want and having what you need is a principle some people never grasp. In the reading of this book, you may realize you have much more to be grateful for than you were aware of.  Use this little book as a daily devotional or pick it up at random times to remind yourself that you are a blessed individual.

PRAISE FOR GRATITUDE: THE ART
OF BEING THANKFUL:
This little gem of a book arrived before we left on vacation, so I took it along. It became our shared devotional and ‘thought for the day’ outlook…and colored our time away with gratitude. This unique discovery is one to treasure.” – 5 Star Review, Amazon verified purchase

I received a complimentary copy of this book as part of this tour.

What’s wonderful about a book like this is you can enjoy bites of gratitude practice in just a few minutes each day. I love that the book is pocket-sized, easy to take with you and pull out when you need a moment to center yourself, to focus on your mindfulness, and think about gratitude and positivity.

The book is a mixture of little nuggets of gratitude in everyday events, quotes and happy thoughts, as well as some prayers for those into that sort of thing. I’m not a religious person, but others can find bliss in these blessings.

One of my favorite simple pages in this book looks like this (page 51):

Be thankful for …

A cup of hot tea,

a cozy home,

a roaring fire,

soup on the stove,

good books to read,

the snowman in your yard,

and a warm coat.

This is a reminder that gratitude does not have to be complicated. The little things can bring a lot of joy, if we only pause long enough to give them meaning.

  1. I love your statement, “This is a reminder that gratitude does not have to be complicated. The little things can bring a lot of joy, if we only pause long enough to give them meaning.” I couldn’t have said it better myself. Thank you for hosting me on your blog. I appreciate it so much.
