Julie’s 2019 Audiobook Challenge:
This Audiobook Challenge is my favorite because you know by now that audiobooks are pretty much the ONLY way I read these days.
My goal:
- Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30
Mid-year update. I’m at 7 books. And that 7th is in progress. I’m not even halfway to the lower part of my goal. I’m really sucking lately HA! Moving is hard. Moving overseas is the hardest.

Lynn’s 2019 Audiobook Challenge:
I crushed my original goal of Socially Awkward in 2018. But like Julie, I just haven’t had time to sit and read as much as I would prefer. But audiobooks are keeping me sane these days.
My Goal:
- Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30
I feel like that’s a reasonable goal, in line with what I listened to in 2018.
I’m at 18 audiobooks books so far. That’s impressive. But I’ve slowed down my listening, switching to videos while working out. I might need to switch back to the audiobooks!
Here’s my 2019 Audiobook Challenge shelf.
I’ve listened to 4 very very great books.
Nora Roberts – COME, SUNDOWN- highly recommend
James Patterson – TEXAS RANGER & UNSOLVED- both excellent
Lisa Gardner- NEVER TELL- awesome audiobook
Each one of these had phenomenal narrators.
