We’re chatting about covers on Chapter Break. ‘Cause you know we all judge books by covers, whether we admit it or not. We judge the style, the color and font choices, and just the overall look. That might not keep us from reading the book, but we do still judge.
Oh wow! Very interested in this cover. You know I love all things purple, so that’s got me interested already.
I love this font, so easy to read and yet so much visual interest. The silver color of the font is so lovely against the dark background.
I also like the yellow roses, fitting to the title obviously. I do think maybe there’s a little too many of the roses. It feels a tad busy, a bit overwhelming. Especially with the text quote at the top – it distracts.
But the premise is interesting and I’d totally pick this one up.
I was at the Dali Museum recently. And let’s just leave it at surrealism is not for me. But realism? Like this cover? Totally my style. Honestly, I’d put this cover (well, without the words!) on my wall!
I love the purple background, twinkling stars, and especially the flowers. I like the curly font on the title. And how the author’s name is the same yellow\gold as the flowers. Very good matching!
I’d certainly pick up this book and read the blurb!
