I love this deeper look at the characters and the images Linda chose to show them. I immediately fell in love with Piper. No child should be left alone in the world. Thank you, Lynn, for hosting today!
Thanks, Jan!
Here we are, Lynn! It’s great to be back on your beautiful site again. Thank you so much for spotlighting Fancy, Jack, and Piper! When I first began to think about a plot for this book, I kept seeing a little girl sitting on a coffin. She was lonely, scared, and grieving the loss of her mother. I knew she’d have a great story. I wanted Fancy to be totally opposite of the song Fancy by Reba McEntire. She’s had to endure rude, suggestive comments about her name and it becomes a big sore spot. So she’s quick to set Jack Coltrain straight right from the start. Then there’s Jack. He’s afraid to dream big. If he can just get enough inheritance to pay the bank off and own the ranch he shares with his brother outright, he’ll be happy. But then he meets Fancy and Piper and his dream of having a family blossoms. I do hope readers will like this story about love and forgiveness as much as I loved writing it. You have a beautiful day, Lynn.
Thanks for the insight, Linda. I’ll now be singing Fancy by Reba McEntire while I read this book!
