With the release of It Starts with Us this year, its 2016 predecessor actually ended up being a smash hit with readers once again. It Ends with Us: A Novel stars Lily, a workaholic in a relationship, but who pines for her first love. This leaves her in a love triangle between her current boyfriend, who is normally relationship averse, and her past love, who recently reappeared in her life. The sequel allows us to see, from the past love’s perspective, his side of the story. Both books are authored by Colleen Hoover.

Where the Crawdads Sing (2021)

Where the Crawdads Sing, recently adapted into film, follows the rumors of someone called the “Marsh Girl” who haunts Barkley Cove. When a murder occurs, the woman rumored to be the one haunting this place is accused. However, two men become intrigued by her, and are excited about discovering the new world this intriguing woman has to offer. Authored by Delia Owens.

Verity (2021)

Verity is a psychological thriller that is sure to make your hair stand on end. The protagonist is a struggling writer, and accepts a job with famed author Verity Crawford to complete the books his injured wife could not. However, when she discovers a manuscript for his wife’s autobiography, she learns truths that she wished not to reveal to Verity. Authored by Colleen Hoover.

Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones (2018)

In this nonfiction book, author James Clear strives to help readers learn how they can best change bad habits that they are trying to drop. He teaches the reader how they can best change their systems to make change within their grasp.

Reminders of Him (2022)
