Julie Review Avatar Julie’s Review:

My son and I really enjoyed reading Amazing Sports from Around the World (Language Lizard Explore). There were so many sports shared that we had never heard of, so that’s always fun. We talked about how some of the sports are similar to what he sees here in the US and how some are completely different. My son also wants to know why Nzango is only played by women, because he wants to dance too.

Overall this is a lovely book to get to know sports in other cultures around the world. Each sport is briefly described on each page with a great illustration. I like the sketch lines look of the pictures, not the typical brightly colored illustrations of children’s books.

The Amazing Sports from Around the World books come in a variety of languages and are bilingual – with text on pages both in English and another language.
