This was the first really firey and explosive (literally) book we read this year, and it is perfect to bring back our TWHS quote meme!
Xaden, he is something else. Cold and dark with his literal shadows, but reveals his sweet and gentle side and burns bright and hot when he lets Violet in. The feels are palpable and absolutely believable. And HOT!
He has secrets, and the more of his secrets he reveals, the deeper and more amazing of a character he is shown to be. He’s not just a bad boy rebel. He’s a protector, and takes responsibility, and does what he knows is right, despite the odds.
