We’ve been tagged (sort of, she tagged literaly everyone, but we accepted) by It Starts at Midnight to do this Olympic Book Tag in honor of the Olympics Opening Ceremonies in Paris! So, let’s get to it!
Do you watch the Olympics?
Julie here – I got us into this mess. I used to watch figure skating with my parents as a kid, but tbh I don’t watch the Olympics or much sports anyway. One, we don’t have cable TV so that makes it harder to watch things like this. But, it’s still fun to watch some recaps of the best moments on the YT.
Lynn here – I do watch the Olympics. I enjoy the spectacle of the opening and closing ceremonies. Though, I don’t actually care for who wins the sports. I could do with less talking heads commentary with more watching the competition. And more coverage of obscure sports canoeing or fencing.
So here are some books either of us have come up with that fit the bill for these categories. Enjoy. And share your book lists with us and SHANNON @ IT STARTS AT MIDNIGHT.

Hah! This one is about Greek Gods living amongst us. Totally counts!
Thank you guys for doing this!! I think after seeing some new events this year, I have some new ideas for the LA games! Love your choices too! Obviously also sobbed at TFIOS, and Paper Towns is a great road trip one! Love the answer of Warrior Girl Unearthed, such a great choice. And YESSSSS to Under the Whispering Door. Perfection! Also, Lore for the sports one was perfect, love it 😂
