Where do you purchase the majority of your books?
Julie:
It certainly depends on the season I’m in. Lately my books mostly come from the library (Libby app). I love that I’ve been able to borrow and listen to so many audiobooks from the library. I usually prefer to listen to my books so my purchases are mostly on Audible. If I buy a book to eyeball read, it’s usually from Amazon since I have a Kindle, but sometimes I get a shelf trophy from a local bookstore. Lately though I have been leaning heavy into my ARCs era, so most of those books are e-arcs from Bookfunnel, Netgalley, or the like. Book dragon hoarding at it’s digital best for me.
Lynn:
Like Julie, I mostly borrow books from the library. Physical books are few and far between. (I did buy a fancy new copy of Assistant to the Villain with the sprayed edges and bonus scene last month. 😉 ) Any other purchases are via Audible. And those are usually book club books that I’ve run out of time to borrow from the library.

I don’t buy a ton of books, really. Since I read so much as either an ARC or an e-galley, or even listening to audiobooks. When I do buy books these days, it is favorite authors that have fancy new editions coming out. So I’ll end up buying them from wherever they might be having cool swag with the books, like indie bookstores. Occasionally B&N if I like the special edition they have.

I’ve been trying to get more books at the library, especially if it’s something I don’t have a time constraint to read. Thanks!
