We love doing discussion posts around here! They’re good content, and they’re fun to think about. We like to join prompts from fellow bloggers and share our thoughts as well. And our Cover Chat counts as a discussion. As well as our occasional Books Taught Us series. So… here we go again for another year!
Of course, we can’t forget our own Chapter Break Bookish Bingo Challenge! So be sure to join that too!

2026 Discussion Challenge
We have enjoyed participating in Book Blog Discussion Challenges all our previous years, because sharing our opinions is the best part of blogging!
The Discussion Challenge is hosted by Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!
The Details:
- The challenge runs from January 1st until December 31st, 2026.
- Discussions can be about whatever you want as long as it’s relevant to books or book blogging.
- Use the hashtag #LetsDiscuss2026 to share your progress and connect with other participants on X.
- More details can be found on It Starts at Midnight!
The Levels:
1-10 – Discussion Dabbler
11-20 – Creative Conversationalist
21-30 – Chatty Kathy
31-40 – Terrifically Talkative
41+ – Gift of the Gab
Our Goal
For 2025 our goal was Chatty Cathy since we typically try to do two discussion posts a month. That means we had to have at least 21 discussion posts for the year.
Let’s summarize:
That’s a whopping 28 discussion posts! Comfortably in the Chatty Cathy category of 21-30, but not over.
So for 2026, I will keep the goal at Chatty Cathy again!
So our goal is to do 21+ discussion posts for 2026!
We count our Chat About Covers monthly feature as a discussion post and also join in with Tell Me Something Tuesday hosted by Jen at That’s What I’m Talking About at least once a month. So that should get us comfortably at 24. We also sometimes remember to check the Top Ten Tuesday topics hosted by Jana of That Artsy Reader Girl or the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Billy of Ramblings of a Coffee-Addicted Writer to fill in some posts. So we should make it!
