This book walks us through Ellie’s entire day, from the moment the sun peeks in through her window to the cozy wind-down before bed.
There’s something so comforting about the structure of it. Every little activity—bath time, breakfast, errands, baking, playtime, even tea with a bunny friend—is told with charm and gentle rhymes that flow beautifully.
The rhymes are spot-on, by the way. They’re light and playful but never overly cutesy or forced. It made reading aloud feel like a breeze, and I found myself slipping into a rhythm without even trying.
My kiddo was bopping along to the rhymes while pointing out all the little details in the illustrations.
