- Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (Is the ship’s artificial intelligence good? or Evil? You decide! Plus, a surprise ending that I didn’t see coming)
- Sleeping Giants (Themis Files) by Sylvain Neuvel (Gripping story that I can’t even begin to explain. Told in interview style, which I really loved)
- Dune series by Frank Herbert (My first introduction to Sci Fi. The series gets a little weird after book #3)
- Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (so fun, irreverent, and sarcastic)
