Julie’s Review: When you’re in the mood for a pirate fae adventure, The Ever King is a fun choice. Adventure Plot: While not a super unique storyline (“I think I’ve seen this film before”), it was fun and entertaining. Pirate steals princess for revenge purposes, princess ends up being special, they fall hard for each […]
Bound by Salt and Iron by Mona Archer Genre: Romantasy I’m Azura, an omega and a sea princess, a mermaid with power over the Song of the sea and the elements. I am also alone. Not lonely, because I decided long ago that I don’t need anyone. I’m perfectly happy on my own… […]
Julie’s Review: I rec’d this book as an ALC as part of the author’s street team, under Crowns and Chaos PR. Overall: I think this series has promise, and the second half of the book got interesting, but it took a while for me to get into and care about the characters. Audio: The […]
Paperback/hardcover: https://www.vidavisauthor.com/ Julie’s Review: When you’re looking for a green flag MMC who yearns… A Kingdom of Magic & Rain is a sweet and cozy fantasy with some twisty betrayals and rollercoaster emotions. Characters: Our FMC Emelin is a sweet, soft bookish girlie princess who is determined to help her kingdom and would do […]
Julie’s Review: So when you read the blurb it’s straight up warning us the book is slow, where the pacing lingers. Where if we prefer plot-driven fantasy, this book might not be right for us. Well, it’s true. The audio narration was absolutely fabulous. I mean we already are all obsessed with Gabriel Michael but […]

I will say you gotta start with the prequel, [easyazon_link identifier=”B0F7H5QHNR” locale=”US” tag=”chapbrea05-20″]Of Melodies and Maledictions: (Lingering Fates)[/easyazon_link], to get the full emotional arc. Book 1 hints at their encounter but […]

What in the actual was that ending? I know this book gets a lot of hype and maybe I had my expectations higher than they should be. I did enjoy this book, I listened to […]
Julie’s Review of [easyazon_link identifier=”1668085739″ locale=”US” tag=”chapbrea05-20″]Spark of the Everflame: A Novel (The Kindred’s Curse Saga)[/easyazon_link]: I went into this with some biases from the posts I have seen in the bookverse. One is that the series is amazing but you have to get through book one, and that the FMC Diem is unlikable. And […]
Julie’s Review of [easyazon_link identifier=”B0G2T2KFN6″ locale=”US” tag=”chapbrea05-20″]Wrath & Desire (Realm of Zadrya Book 2)[/easyazon_link] I really enjoyed (devoured) the first book in this world, yet it took me a longer time to complete this second book. It was much longer, yes, but also I felt the pacing was slower and more contemplative. In book 2 […]

I mean, I wasn’t wrong. […]
