This book is just something I happened to stumble upon on Goodreads this week and on a whim, I purchased it on my kindle and began reading. When I stopped I had read through to 84 percent! I am not saying it is the best book in the world, and it is definitely not a light read as the subject matter is rather dark, but I have been in a reading slump lately and this book has kept my attention. Henry is sweet and good and reminds me a lot of Evan Mathews from Rebecca Donovan’s Reason To Breathe. Henry says this line to Kate when she comments that she likes that someone is actually waiting for her for a change. Someone is noticing her for the first time. She deals with people being mean to her both at school and at home and Henry is nice to her and genuinely likes her. My heart goes out to this young couple and I want to read on to watch their love grow and I want to see Kate overcome the bullying at school… so I read on…
