I just finished this book, so this is the quote that came to mind for today. I had wanted to read this book for a while because I met the author and got her to sign the book, blah, blah, blah. Without giving anything away, I am not sure how I felt about this book. It seemed to take a long time to get going and then I was never sure at first who Devon’s love interest was supposed to be. I liked Brennan, so I was glad when he said this to Devon.

So this is a pretty serious moment in the end of the book. I guess you can say it is a bit of a spoiler, but because of who/what Farrell is, he is being forced to hunt down and kill Dominique. But he still loves her, and he tells her to run.

I’m not too sure what genre Final Stand is, but after reading your quote Julie, I’m thinking I should at least check-it out! I liked Rose’s quote too, however her thoughts on the book don’t seem great, so I’m not sold on it.
Final Stand is the second book in a series and it is YA Paranormal/Fantasy.
Yeah, the book is decent. It just didn’t grab my attention really until the end, but that could have just been me.
