Rose’s Quote:
I like having you around, Britt. That’s the truth. I’m not leaving you. Even if you were a pain in the butt, I’d stay with you. It’s the right thing to do. But it turns out I find you likable and interesting, and while I’m not glad you have to go through this, I’m glad we have each other.
–Jude to Britt
(Black Ice by: Becca Fitzpatrick)
I liked this book up until the end when it became a little too predictable. The set up and lead up was really good, but I did not care for the ending as much. I did like Jude, though. He was smart and capable even though he made some wrong, stupid choices. This book was definitely an interesting read. Check out the book trailer:

Aww, I tend to really like those sort of realist romantic quotes. I don’t mind predicable endings if I like the ending. 🙂 I need to pick up this book. Thanks for linking up with Quote Me Thursday!
I just grabbed BLACK ICE yesterday because the Kindle edition was on sale for $2.99, plus all of the reviews have been really good. That’s too bad about the predictable ending, but that quote & trailer more than make up for it I think. SOON my pretty! 🙂
I really enjoyed the book especially since it was all creepy and intense in the beginning. Good choice! This is our first That’s What He Said Thursday and we’re giddy to be a part of it! ~ Bel
I like that quote, the idea of a book boyfriend doing the right thing. It’s a bit similar to my quote this week.
Wow, that is some trailer! It just might be one of the best I’ve seen. I like that quote, too. You’re really tempting me to pick up Black Ice. I didn’t read the Hush, Hush series – although it’s sitting on my shelf. 🙂 But Black Ice seems really thrilling – despite the predictable ending you described.
Woah. That trailer was intense. I’m such a scaredy cat! But it looks very intriguing!
Yeah, I liked the trailer, too.
Oh, I want to read this book! I love Becca Fitzpatrick, she’s an awesome writer. Jude sounds funny, is he? I like my guys with a good sense of humour. 😉
You know, I can’t really recall. I remember him being very smart and fast on his feet, though.
