So this quote is not really from the main book boyfriend to the main book girlfriend in this book, but anyway, it was his girlfriend at the time. I thought it was sweet, and kind of made me wonder do we really compare how we love people to previous people we’ve loved?

Sweet and intense. Interesting question too. I have to say, I’m actually with the only person I’ve ever loved, so I have no basis for comparison. But, if its anything like how I compare my book boyfriends, the absolutely!
I’ve never read any Rainbow Rowell, but I’ve heard great things! As for comparing people we’ve loved, I don’t think I find myself comparing the people so much as my level of happiness when I was with each. If that makes sense 🙂
I think I compare level of happiness as well. That’s what really matters, right?
I love Rainbow Rowell but sadly, I’ve only read a few pages of Attachments and need to get back to it. Lovely quote 🙂

I think so too, we tend to compare our experiences against other experiences at least.
I like that one. I think it’s interesting that it’s from a previous girlfriend. It’s a lot like the quote I did from the end Beautiful Creatures. I’ve read all of the rest of Rainbow’s books, but not this one. I’ll have to move it up on the TBR list.
I’e only read one other Rowell book. I gotta read more.
