This line made me laugh out loud while reading this book. Sera has all of this intellect, but does not know certain words or sayings. It is funny and awkward. I like the Sera is going to innocently inquire after a term she does not know. She will want the literal translation, too. It is sort of sweet that Zen jumps in to explain in a way that will not cause Sera to feel weird or uncomfortable. And perhaps Zen likes that Sera is so innocent.

I haven’t read this one, but the quotes are interesting and intriguing. Curious about why Sera needs so much explained to her- does she have amnesia? It seems nice that Zen jumps in to explain things to her. 🙂

Sera definitely needs Zen to explain things to her. I dont wish to give anything away, but as soon as you begin reading the book, you understand why.
I read that one a while back, and I really liked it. I had forgotten about Cody. I saw there’s a sequel out, but I’m not sure if I want to read it. I may be seriesed out for a while. Then again, a lot of the good books are part of a series. Sigh.
