Everything was supposed to be fine.

Keaton was going to cure all of the Loup Mountain wolves and monsters, and we were going to head back to my old apartment for some space and alone time to figure out what we wanted to do about…well, everything.

But then we realized we had bigger problems.

The Loup Mountain werewolves think I’m their Alpha. Most of them are set on staying in Lyka Bay, even if it means living in the forest for the foreseeable future.

The ones that aren’t so set on forest-living want me dead, so that my gift will transfer to someone else.

My life’s on the line, but I can’t leave the pack living outside forever. And to help them…well, I just might have to become their Alpha after all.

Note: This new-adult paranormal romance is recommended for ages 17+ due to language and sexual content.

Hi, I’m Lola! I’m a book lover with a *slight* werewolf obsession and a massive book addiction. I read a ton, write a ton, and have an unhealthy relationship with both Red Bull and chocolate. My books are always about new-adult characters, and I love putting twists on common romance tropes!

Avie is an audiobook narrator living in her off-grid tiny house in rural Eastern Canada, surrounded by forest and chicken friends, and honeybees. She loves books so much she’s listening to one almost every minute she’s not narrating one (she also narrates as Aven Shore). She narrates live on Discord with other romance narrators on the Haven server. She is longing to travel and hike in mountains again, and dreaming of sleep in the lava fields of Iceland under Northern lights again, her favorite place in the world. Her past lives include being a carpenter, firefighter, tax accountant, and competitive snowboarder.

At Audiobook Empire, audio reigns supreme, narrators are hailed as heroes, and headphones are worn with pride.

Marrying pomp and circumstance with quality you can count on, Audiobook Empire is a full-service production house that produces and promotes audiobooks with gusto.

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Audiobook Empire. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

I was so happy to see all the closure and growth for our main character in this final book. She went through so much in the previous books, especially the stressful kidnapping and almost forced breeding (*shudders in Woman in the USA*).

Kass and Keaton’s relationship bloomed so beautifully and believably in book 3, so my complaints about the previous book are in the past. I enjoyed listening to them go from yes-we’re-really-into-each-other-this-is-it to the HEA family they achieved by the epilogue. I love books with a good story arch and a HEA.

I also enjoyed the further world-building discovering the witches and the true origin of the Lycan monsters. I loved the feeling of belonging and home when the packs found their history and could combine and return where they felt they fit the best. That belonging was what Kass has been searching for the entire story. While there are still plenty of heartbreaks, the ending fits.

I loved the audio, yet again. I was even more into the pleasantly surprising POV shift to Keaton’s narration. It was scary also to have that sudden shift, not knowing what would happen to Kass.

Overall, a great series. If you’re a fan of shifter romance and female leads who take control and don’t give in or give up until they find the right fit for everyone they care about – then this series is for you.
