We’re chatting about covers on Chapter Break. ‘Cause you know we all judge books by covers, whether we admit it or not. We judge the style, the color and font choices, and just the overall look. That might not keep us from reading the book, but we do still judge.

This is kind of a cute cover. Kind of awkward, too.
I like the bokeh sunset line along the field with the night sky and stars above. That’s a really cool look.
I’m not as fond of the title font. It’s readable, yes, but kinda weird. And then the author font is so boring in comparison.
The embracing people, cute idea, not the best execution. They blend into each other so the artwork isn’t great, and it could have been very pretty.
Anyway, I’d probably walk on by but it would catch my eye for a moment.

What strikes me first on this cover is the title. It looks like sky writing by airplane. And I love it! Especially with the night sky behind it. Very eye-catching.
The couple embracing on the front is vague enough that a reader doesn’t start with preconcieved notions of what the couple looks like.
Overall, this cover does scream romance. Even without reading the blurb. But also, I am not really into romances by authors I don’t know. It might catch my eye, but I’d walk past as well.
What are your thoughts on this cover?
