I like this quote because however misguided Trent is, he wants to help Kacey. HE wants to make up for Kacey’s past. It is of course ultimately up to Kacey to heal and grow and recover from her past trauma, but it is a nice sentiment that Trent wishes he could heal her.

I’ve heard so much about this book but I’ve been avoiding it and I don’t know why. But what he said was really sweeeeet.
I will say that this book is full of tough issues, Rin. But worth it in the end.
