Julie Review Avatar Julie’s 2023 Audiobook Challenge:

I didn’t meet my goal for 2022. (Or 2021. Or 2020.) Since the goal is to outdo yourself, I suppose reducing my goal a huge ton isn’t ideal. But considering I majorly failed last year, I am reducing it some. I know this year will be complicated with a cross-country move this coming summer. And I find it impossible to read or listen to books when traveling with family. But maybe I’ll meet this goal? She says hopefully.

My goal:

  • Stenographer (can listen while multitasking) 10-15

My update: Well, clearly my goal being low was a good call. I’m happy to say I’m have met my goal! Gotta lower the bar people!

 Lynn’s 2023 Audiobook Challenge:

I blew my 2022 goal out of the water. So I’m going up a level and hoping to keep up!

My goal:

  • My Precious (I had my earbuds surgically implanted) 30+

My update: LOLOLOLOL. As of this writing, I read 58 books this year. 42 of which were audiobooks. Clearly I’m not into the whole sit still and read lifestyle! And unlike Julie, I might need to raise my goal again next year. Listening to 50 books might be a stretch, though! I’ve also come to the realization that you can read a lot more 10-15 hour books than 30+ hour books. Cutting back on all the big books has helped up my stats.
