Julie’s Review: When you’re in the mood for a pirate fae adventure, The Ever King is a fun choice. Adventure Plot: While not a super unique storyline (“I think I’ve seen this film before”), it was fun and entertaining. Pirate steals princess for revenge purposes, princess ends up being special, they fall hard for each […]
Julie’s Review: So when you read the blurb it’s straight up warning us the book is slow, where the pacing lingers. Where if we prefer plot-driven fantasy, this book might not be right for us. Well, it’s true. The audio narration was absolutely fabulous. I mean we already are all obsessed with Gabriel Michael but […]

The murder happens pretty quickly in the story. And I just have to sing “he had it coming” and say case closed. Like, paint me a more deserving douche of a human. Okay okay, maybe people don’t […]

So the puzzles and clues in this book were a fun theme! I also liked the premise that these teams are competing on a game show to win big bucks, and meanwhile, there’s […]

What in the actual was that ending? I know this book gets a lot of hype and maybe I had my expectations higher than they should be. I did enjoy this book, I listened to […]

One is that the series is amazing but you have to get through book one, and that the FMC Diem is unlikable. And […]

QOTD: Do you prefer vampires with a moral code, or fully unhinged immortals? Julie’s Review: [easyazon_link identifier=”B0DCT3JDG8″ locale=”US” tag=”chapbrea05-20″]Fangs of Fate (Untish Series Book 1)[/easyazon_link] is a dark fantasy full of dark magic, dangerous alliances, a fierce FMC, vampires and dragons, desire and yearning, and a lot of epic battles. The audiobook […]
Julie’s Review of [easyazon_link identifier=”1250395232″ locale=”US” tag=”chapbrea05-20″]This Story Might Save Your Life[/easyazon_link]: This book was a ride! It’s a combination of a podcast, a memoir, a murder mystery, and a best-friends’ love story, with Happy Days references and pets! While I personally am not a huge podcast consumer, I loved the banter and friendship the […]
Julie’s Review: This is my first TJ Klune book; a book that describes itself as for fans of Stranger Things? Yea I’m in. Something that seems to be most special about stories like this: it’s the survival and high stakes really delve deep into what it means to be human, and the lengths people will […]
