Rose review avatarRose’s Quote:

You should be kissed and by someone who knows how.

Rhett to Scarlett

(Gone With the Wind by: Margaret Mitchell)

You can never go wrong with a classic! I have been thinking about reading this again lately. I remember reading it in middle school and I loved it! I wonder how I would feel about this book now?

Julie Review AvatarJulie’s Quote:

All this time, I thought I was alone. Different. But you’re different, too.
For the longest time, I wanted to die. I figured that I was dead inside already, that they’d killed me when they turned me into a machine .But I don’t feel dead anymore.
I know what I want now.

Jericho to Evie

(The Diviners by: Libba Bray)

So this quote might be a bit of a spoiler if you didn’t read the book. So, sorry, oh well.  I think it is meaningful because they’re both different, special in some way. Jericho struggles with what makes him different, but he can identify with Evie and they can support each other and protect each other because they know each other’s secret.

We didn’t read it in school. I read it while I was in middle school because my bestie and I were both into it and raced each other reading this twice.

No Rose I am not joining you on another behemoth book read along this year! Although I read this back in middle school as well, and I just loved it. And now, I wonder how I would like it or if I would have the patience for it lol.
