Library Week: Support Your Local Library

We here at Chapter Break are fans of the library. While we love to own and hoard err COLLECT our books, we love to support the local library because the library supports everyone in reading. Here are some reasons why we both love the library.

1. Free books for those of us who devoured books each day as kids.
2. Great kids activities to get bookworms started early.
3. Supporting authors and the written word.
4. Can chat books with fellow-minded people.
5. Great resources for any kind of research.
6. Way to meet others who also love to read.
7. Safe after-school hangout.
8. Good place to donate your used books when you declutter.
9. If you are so inclined, you can buy cheap used books.
10. Many libraries lend more than just books. Baking pans, tools, museum passes and more can be found in your local library!
11. Free computer access for everyone. The Houston library is even teaching patrons how to use a 3-D printer.
