Julie Review Avatar Julie’s 2019 Audiobook Challenge:

This Audiobook Challenge is my favorite because you know by now that audiobooks are pretty much the ONLY way I read these days.

My goal:

  • Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30

End of the year update – well I’m at 17 books. That’s not to my goal. This year I failed. Next year I’ll pick a lower goal haha. Moving is hard. Moving overseas is the hardest. I’ve been working from home remotely, which is fabulous, but that means I don’t commute and that was my biggest listening opportunity. I try to listen while spreadsheeting but for the most part I’m on long calls all day with our clients and co-workers in Texas.

 Lynn’s 2019 Audiobook Challenge:

I crushed my original goal of Socially Awkward in 2018. But like Julie, I just haven’t had time to sit and read as much as I would prefer. But audiobooks are keeping me sane these days.

My Goal:

  • Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30

I feel like that’s a reasonable goal, in line with what I listened to in 2018.

End of the year update: I completed 24 audio books for 2019, which is half of the books I read. I’d say that audio is the way to go if dedicated reading time is a challenge.
