What’s a home without a fully stocked bookshelf? Not only do they make great decorations, books also allow us to escape from our current world and can even teach us something new. And if your bookshelf is full of science fiction or new adult contemporary books  — as many bookworm’s shelves are — you may want to consider branching out.

One way to branch out in the types of books you read is to consider what new hobbies you want to learn. With all of us spending more time at home than ever before, and many even buying new homes, there are a lot of new things you can learn. You could get into gardening, expand your houseplant collection, learn to do home repairs yourself or just sharpen your decorating eye. To help in this effort, the team at Hippo put together a list of hobby books for homeowners by category. This way, no matter what your goals are, you’re sure to find a book you’ll love.
