Stoker and Veronica don’t exactly have what I’d call a typical romance. The two of them are way too practical for that. I like this quote because it shows how Stoker feels for Veronica without all the flowery poetry or love declarations that one might expect. Especially from an Keats quoting, hoop earring & pirate eye patch wearing disgraced member of society. I’ve definitely enjoyed seeing their relationship progress!
