Excuse me but my current trope obsession is when a god of death yearns for a mortal girlie. Aidan is so devoted to this woman he has never met but has stalked – yes stalked. He waits patiently for her to make up her mind and continues to tell her how much he wants her to choose him. I mean, how can you say no to that?
