Blurb: What if Santa looked different in every country—and every version was real?
On Christmas Eve, curious young Kam is determined to solve a mystery: why does everyone at school draw a different-looking Santa? Is Santa white? Black? Chinese? Indian? Who’s right?
That night, Kam gets his answer in the most magical way possible — when Santa appears in a swirl of golden light and invites Kam on a sleigh ride across the globe!
From snowy rooftops in Canada to sandy beaches in Australia, Kam discovers how families celebrate Christmas in their own unique ways. With every stop, Santa transforms — into Shengdan Laoren in China, Santa Baba in India, Sinterklaas in South Africa, and many more. Kam learns that Santa is more than a man in a red suit — he’s a symbol of joy, love, and kindness that crosses every border.

Along the way, Kam discovers timeless truths:

  • Kindness is universal.
  • Every culture has something magical to share.
  • Curiosity leads to discovery.
  • Love and family are the heart of Christmas.
  • Joy unites us all.

With dazzling magic, rich cultural insight, and a golden message from Santa himself, this beautifully illustrated holiday tale is perfect for children, families, classrooms, and anyone who believes in the true spirit of Christmas.

Celebrate diversity. Inspire curiosity. Feel the wonder. Join Kam on a global adventure you’ll never forget.

Author Interview

  1. Share some of your journey to publishing your children’s book.

I was inspired to write Kam and Santa’s Global Adventure: “A Magical Christmas Across the World” from my time working as a children’s talent agent in Hollywood, where I represented over 150 young actors from diverse backgrounds. I saw how important it is for kids to feel seen and included. That experience inspired me to create a story where children everywhere can see themselves reflected in the magic of Christmas, while celebrating different cultures around the world.

  1. How did you select your topic?

I chose this topic because I wanted kids to see that Christmas is celebrated in many different ways around the world. I also wanted to show that everyone belongs, no matter where they come from.

  1. What do you hope to teach or inspire in children?

I want children to feel included, confident, and proud of who they are. I also want them to be curious about other cultures and learn to respect differences.

  1. Describe the child that is your target reader.

My reader is a curious child who loves adventure, asks questions, and enjoys learning about the world in a fun way. I see this as most children in today’s era.

  1. What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

I enjoy spending time with our family’s French Bulldog, Zelle, thinking of new story ideas, and working on creative projects that inspire kids.

  1. Advice for aspiring authors / your younger self

I would say: don’t wait for everything to be perfect; just start. Keep going, even when it feels hard, and it will. Your story matters.

  1. What is your favorite line from your book?

“My favorite part is when Kam realizes that magic isn’t just about Santa, and how he looks; it’s about how joy, kindness, and love connect us all.”

  1. Describe your book in 10 words or less

A magical journey showing Santa through cultures around the world.

  1. What should readers take away from your book?

I want readers to walk away feeling that everyone belongs and that differences make the world more beautiful.

  1. Book authors you recommend

I recommend books that celebrate diversity, imagination, and help children feel seen and understood. One author I really enjoy is Alysson Bourque, especially her Alycat Series. I love her books because they teach confidence, problem-solving, and self-belief in a fun and relatable way that kids can easily connect with.

  1. Do you have any odd writing habits?

Yes, I do have a unique way of writing. Because of my background as a children’s talent agent, I naturally see each page like a scene from a film or TV show. I think about how it would look, feel, and play out if it were on screen. That helps me make sure the story is not just good to read, but also engaging, emotional, and easy for kids to connect with, almost like they’re watching the story as it happens.

  1. When did you decide to be an author?

I didn’t start as a writer; I grew into it over time. My experiences working with child actors inspired me to tell stories that make a meaningful difference, that reflect the values of inclusivity and belonging.
