Vanity’s a debilitating affliction. You’re so absorbed in yourself it’s impossible to love anyone other than oneself, leaving you weak without realization of it. It’s quite sad. You’ve no idea what you’re missing either. You will never know real love and your life will pass you by.

But you will see.

So I decided to look into this book that Kim of the blog Kimberlyfayreads recommends. I have not read on much further, but it does sound like an intriguing read and after hearing Kim gush, I am looking forward to reading on.

Actually, this is just the prologue… the actual first chapter is a bit more gritty… grittier??? I hate grammar rules. One is either grammatical or ungrammatical and if you understood what I meant, then I am grammatical. So there. okay, sorry, but yeah, its good so far.

I like it so far. I did not see what just happened coming. It didn’t say anything about her leaving her California in the blurb… at least I didn’t think so. I am just at the point where she is told where she is going… (not wanting give anything away, incase others want to read) but I like the writer’s style. So far, it has held my attention. Thanks for the rec.
