I made a deal with the Council. Again.

Just when I think I’m starting to get the hang of this witching thing, my powers become more unruly than ever. The Council is giving me two options: Learn to control my magic by Beltane, or have it caged.
Permanently.

If that’s not stressful enough, I’m having the strangest dreams. Nightmares, really. I’m starting to wonder if they might be something more. Something . . . psychic.

Callan thinks the answers might lie with an old flame of his. When jealousy sparks, I start to question our relationship—or lack thereof.

All my life, I’ve had one foot in both worlds, but the time is coming to decide.
The Collector is hunting me. The Council wants to control me. But what do I want?
Will I live as a human, or embrace this crazy pink magic and all that it’s brought me?

Whatever I decide, the wrong choice could spell destruction. Not just for me, but for the entire witching world.

Psychic Witch is the second book in the House of Magic series, an Enemies-to-Lovers Paranormal Romance with humor and some steam. This series must be read in order.

It contains a spitfire heroine and a strong Alpha male who protects and respects his woman. If you can't get enough of Jaymin Eve, Avery Song, Leia Stone, Kel Carpenter, Lucia Ashta, Linsey Hall, and Sadie Moss then one-click now because you won't want to miss this one!

Julie Review Avatar Julie’s Review:

I enjoyed book 1 and diving into book 2 was a treat. Read my review of the first book: Rebel Witch.

Our main character is starting to grow on me, as she grows and develops into a strong woman. She started out as a rebel, hence the first book title name. Just doing her own thing and didn’t want anyone to mess with her. She just wants to live in the regular human world with her best friend and hang out at their favorite nightclub.

She still lives by her own rules – she refuses to let anyone control her. Everything has to be on her terms, her way, or she fights. But, she’s also learning to adapt to her situation and the magical world she lives in.

And oh boy the magic! She’s so powerful, and as the story develops, we see more and more of what she’s capable of. While the other students at the magical College are learning how to do certain tasks, Marnie’s attempts just don’t fit in. Every time she tries, she loses control and something HUGE happens, sometimes traumatic for somebody. Always embarrassing for her.

Her “arranged” marriage is pissing her off, but her partnership with her mentor is developing into something more, and I was happy to finally get that steam fest going.

The conflict in this story, other than the uncontrolled powers and the magical council not being a fan of her, is the Collector is after her. You see, our girl Marnie keeps having dreams/visions. It turns out that on top of being super powerful magically, she’s also a Seer. And the Collector wants her for her powers.

I don’t want to give away any details of the rollercoaster plot but we deal with: painful betrayals, heartwarming reunions, finding the missing lost, and discovering so many secrets.

And while this book ends really well, it sets up another fun adventure for the next book. So I can’t wait for that one.

The audio was great! I’m really enjoying Elle Sonali’s narration style. I enjoyed the cadence, the voices, and the emotions. Definitely keeping her other narrations on my list.

I haven’t had many 5 star reviews recently, and this one just hit the spot!
