I just punched a girl in the face. Not just any girl. My best friend. My roommate. Well, as of five minutes ago, I guess I should call her my ex-roommate.

This is what I started reading on Tuesday. This beginning had me immediately hooked and I finished the book that same day, but I still wanted to share for today.  As with all of Colleen Hoover’s books, I loved it! I really liked that the book was interactive. In the middle of the kindle version there were links that played the music for that section of the book. Yes. This book has its own soundtrack. How cool is that!?

  1. I have been meaning to read this. That opening really is an attention grabber. & The fact that is has it’s own soundtrack is pretty cool. Yea I will defiantly have to get round to this soon. I love Colleen Hoover’s Slammed series. She has a great way with words.
    Great pick 🙂

Colleen Hoovers books are amazing. Have you read Hopeless yet? Its my favorite title by her.

  2. Ooh. The opening does catch one’s attention. I’ve always glossed over this book, thinking I wouldn’t be interested in it. I was also under the impression that it’s just another hyped up book. I’m gonna take another look at at. Maybe I’ll like it after all.

Hope it turns out to be a good book for you! 🙂

There IS a lot of hype to this book. I do not think it is unworthy of the hype. I liked this book and will read it again. Its good. the music is fun and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

  3. That beginning definitely grabs your attention, doesn’t it! I love the idea of a book having its own soundtrack, although I love putting them together for books as well! Thanks for sharing 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!

Thanks Juli! I tend to listen to author’s playlists and that can kinda be considered a novel’s soundtrack, but this was unique in that the links to the song were clickable right from my kindle page.
